The 11th annual ViewFinders: International Film Festival for Youth and The Discovery Centre proudly present the ViewFinders Expo, April 15

(Halifax, NS) --  Kicking off the 11th annual ViewFinders: International Film Festival for Youth in Halifax (April 15-21), ViewFinders and The Discovery Centre will co-host the ViewFinders Expo at the Discovery Centre (1593 Barrington St.) on Sunday, April 15th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.  Admission is FREE for all ages.

Whether you are interested in dabbling with special effects, getting your hands on a camera, or viewing some great youth video productions, the ViewFinders Expo offers activities to entertain the whole family.   In addition to the current Discovery Centre exhibit, Grossology – the (Impolite) Science of the Human Body, there will be Animation Stationsprovided by the Digital Animators of Nova Scotia, Blue Screen Special Effects so that you can go from the Taj Mahal to an Artic glacier in the flip of a switch, Special FX Makeup to try on black eyes and bloody scars and an area to dress up in a multitude of fancy attire and have photos taken on the red carpet.
