Volunteer Benefits

 

The AFFA would like to acknowledge the hard work of our volunteers by offering the following benefits.  Volunteer benefits are determined by the number of hours a volunteer contributes to the AFFA. Hours can be accumulated by volunteering at any AFFA event, however a minimum of 12 hours must be completed during the Atlantic Film Festival.

 

Crew (Volunteers contributing 12-28 hours)

•  Atlantic Film Festival Volunteer Badge and T-Shirt 

•  An invitation to the Staff and Volunteer Wrap Party

•  Two tickets to a regular screening during the Festival (this does not include sold out screenings, galas or special presentations) 

•  A punch card good for five Rush Seating screenings 

 

Cast (Volunteers contributing 29+ hours)

•  Atlantic Film Festival Volunteer Badge and T-Shirt 

•  An invitation to the Staff and Volunteer Wrap Party

•  Access to Daytime Industry Screenings 

•  Four tickets to a regular screening during the Festival (this does not include sold out screenings, galas or special presentations) 

•  Rush Seating for all regular screenings 

•  Access to Music Showcases at the Paragon Theatre

•  Access to Inspired Industry Sessions (not sold out)

 

Volunteer Leaders

•  Atlantic Film Festival Volunteer Badge and T-Shirt 

•  An invitation to the Staff and Volunteer Wrap Party

•  Access to Daytime Industry Screenings

•  Rush Seating for all regular screenings 

•  Six tickets to any regular screening not sold out

•  Access to the Hospitality Suite

•  Access to Music Showcases 

•  Access to Inspired Industry Sessions (not sold out)

•  Access to parties and receptions 

•  Opening Night Party +1

•  Closing Night Party +1 

 

*To attend Rush Screenings, volunteers must arrive 15 minutes prior to the film’s start time. You will not be permitted entrance to the theatre without presenting your Volunteer Identification Badge, and your punch card (if applicable).

*Any volunteer hours completed after midnight and before 8am will be counted as double time towards benefits.
