ViewFinders announces annual screening and workshop series for educators, youth and families, April 29 & 30
 
New for 2015 – The event is FREE!

ViewFinders will take place on Wednesday, April 29 and Thursday, April 30 at Cineplex Cinemas Dartmouth Crossing.
 
New this year, ViewFinders is a free event. Although pre-registration is required, schools attending ViewFinders will only be responsible for the cost of transportation to and from the event.

National Canadian Film Day - THE GRAND SEDUCTION April 29th

National Canadian Film Day is having a party & everyone is invited!  As part of the festivites presented by Reel Canada, the Atlantic Film Festival will host a free screening of the award winning Eastern Canadian Film THE GRAND SEDUCTION at The Halifax Central Library in the Paul O’Regan Hall. April 29th at 2pm.  Don’t miss out.

ViewFinders Workshop Series - Weekly, April 1 - 22
Each week in April, leading up to the ViewFinders Film Competition deadline (May 1st, 2015), ViewFinders will be offering a filmmaking workshop for youth at the Atlantic Filmmakers Cooperative (AFCOOP).

Workshops are FREE to attend, but pre-registration is required.

Through daytime screenings and workshops that have become popular as an annual class-trip destination for local teachers and their students, ViewFinders offers the best of international and local film while celebrating the original works of Atlantic Canadian young people with a passion for film and video.
